Pizza Punks Belfast, opened in April 2018, offers a unique dining experience centred on customisable sourdough pizzas. It operates with an anti-establishment ethos, allowing customers to choose unlimited toppings for a set price, prioritising products and people over profit.
Pizza Punks is a fast-growing independent company with an anarchist and anti-establishment outlook. The restaurant provides unique dining experiences by allowing customers to create their own pizza with unlimited toppings for one set price, with no hidden charges. The dough is a signature sourdough, handmade in-house using a starter from San Francisco's Boudin Bakery and double fermented for at least 48 hours for maximum flavour. The style is described as neither Neapolitan nor New York, but 'Pizza Punks'. The establishment serves its food with 'Hell Yeah Hospitality' and riotous tunes. Alongside customisable pizzas, the menu features cocktails, ice-cream desserts, and a separate children's menu. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and halal options are available. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking is encouraged.
